Who is this guy??!!! He sure can "zip" with the best of them!

The September 2011 Weekend

Had a great time this past weekend with another Wild at Heart group. Fantastic group of guys (mostly from Northwoods Community Church) came out and burned up the paint ball field, shot the lights out on the gun range, kicked up dust on the 4 wheeler trails, and zipped down the zip line. Much was shared and learned by all during the DVD sessions. I think these guys will be back for Part 2 soon!

The July 2011 Weekend

On July 22,23 we had the men of Minier Christian Church out for the Part 1 Wild at Heart Weekend. And it was HOT!!!!! But we made it through with lots of water, big fans and the refreshing swimming pool. The men loved the shooting, paintball, 4 wheeling and zip line activities of course. And the John Eldredge DVD content always proves to challenge the way we men live our lives. Thanks for coming out guys. Hope to see you soon for Part 2.

The May 2011 Weekend

Had the wonderful men of St Jude's Church in Peoria out for the second Wild at Heart retreat of the season this past weekend. This was a Wild at Heart Part 2 weekend. Most of these guys had been out for the Part 1 weekend but there were new faces as well. Great discussions were had regarding the topics of A Battle to Fight, An Adventure to Live, A Beauty to Rescue and a Band of Brothers. The weather held out nicely and the men enjoyed awesome activities of paintball, various gun shooting, 4-wheel riding and ziplining! Thanks to the Men of St Jude for coming out to Wild at Heart and hopefully everyone returned home having learned how to be better husbands, fathers and friends.

We had our first Wild at Heart experience for the 2011 season. The movie clips stirred the hearts of the men. They went from watching other men live an adventure on film to experiencing an adventure with paint ball, 4 wheeling, skeet shooting, and riding the new zip line. Heart wounds were healed - body wounds were bragged about. Incredible stories were told around the campfire - it doesn't get any better than this.
